my friend just sent me a photo of 'jack, a 10 month old rescue in foster care. 

i have absolutely no resistance.

accumulating sorrow

He came to us New Years Eve only 6 weeks old, 

weighing all of 4 pounds.

He left us after 17 1/2 years.

Jack and Jack. Diane and Mark. Sherry. David.
Dear Yosh and Kayla, Stella and Zu.
Allysum, Cosmo, Rocket and Tria.
Kyle, Gus and Koki.

 Skye and Blix. Basil.  Luna, too. The sweet, sweet finches… 

 Murph knew them all. 

 All gone somewhere.

 What a guy.

How lucky were we?
